Is there anyway to check out codes for free... i dont know anyone who has a vag-com, unless i spend 500 bucks and get one myself. Also, my temp stick never goes above 1/4 of the way, except for once when i was just sitting in my car for 15 mins with car on and stationary. It got half way, plus it was like -20 that day.
I already have new plugs, and air filter... is there anyway to check if my 02 or maf is bad other than using a vag-com? I read on milage alot here on AF, but gave up cause i couldnt find the fault in my car. i have just been driving like that for 6+ months now lol...But since my car is scheduled to go for TB, CV boots, and tirodends, i thought i would try to get this fuel problem solved also.
Forgot to mention i got 67K miles on my car.

Thanks

You guys are awsome, I have a whole Saturday To Do List. Since I already changed my plugs Im going to try and do an oil change today with a seafoam. After that Im going to change all of the filters in the carand see how that goes. Because none of my gauges have been acting funny and I just got my car so I havent had time or the money to get a vag right now but thats in the near future like next pay check lol.

I just got back from autozone and no codes were found. He wasnt using vag-com but something else starting with a... cant remember what it was called. However i got some seafoam and put it in my fuel tank. Lets see how that works, although i dont have high expectations.
