2004 Audi A4 1.8t

I have a “buzzzzzzz” that is driving me mad and it is coming from my lower dash area. I got under the dash today to take out the 2 crews only to realize that it only has one screw, on the left side. The right lower dash screw is not there and that is why there is a rattle….it isn’t tight. What I need help on is understanding how the right screw goes in! I took a picture of both the right and left side. The left side has a hole for the screw to go into and the right side has an oval shape that I have no idea what to do with. I can’t get behind it to put a nut there, so what in the crap holds that screw in place? have a crazy "bzzzzzz" anytime I hit a certain
