I have 19's and i am looking into lowering it alittle. i dont want to lower it to much to where u cant see the upper part of the wheel b/c the wheel well is covering it, i want it to look clean, like an even space between the wheel and the wheel-well al the way around.. do u recomend .5in 1in or 1.5in..???? and what manufacturer of springs?

i'd only go .5 with 19s you're probably almost tucking as is. even with a .5 drop, you're probably gonna be doing som trimming and rolling to avoid rubbing. i wouldn't suggest suspension mod... i also wouldn't have suggested 19s...

Might want to get coilovers so you aren't stuck with a certain hight. Might be helpful in winter time.

Ditto what they both said, but Jestnomen's advice is best.

there was this guy featured on Eurotuner awhile back that put 3piece 20's on his A4 with a 1.5" drop.... so don't worry about it. do the 1.5" roll the fenders and get the 19's

Yeah.. but there was no mention of the drop in suspension performance and the rubbing that occur at speed.

true, but when you lower there's always that bump that you will rub on.

What I mean is that there is a point where performance begins to suffer well beyond the gain in aesthetics. At some point each driver/owner is going to realize that the "look" doesn't offset the lack of drivability.
