Hey guys, I have a 2000 A4 2.8Q and my buddy is an Audi tech. He told me that if I lower my car, it would trigger the ride height sensor and the CEL would go off. Is that correct? If so, is there a way to bypass the CEL?

 

I dont think anyone has had that problem when lowering the springs[:-]

 

If anything it will trigger a static fault in the headlight control module, it won't throw a CEL or cause the headlights to malfunction.
