Default Lowering my B6....

Okay, ive had a couple posts the past couple days.. but now its lowering questions.. Ive searched and found out that if i install springs, then my shocks will die out in about 6 months.. Is this true on the B6 modles??

I would do coilovers, but im just wondering (because the price is so high) that.. if they are ride hight adjustable? i mean.. I live in New Jersey and in the winter it snows a lot! about 6 inches sometimes. Could i press a button, turn a **** or do somthing to make them they raise my car 2 inches, then lower 2 inches..

And.. there are A LOT of different blabber on what coilovers are better.. so i really dont want to ask.. but if i had to.. What coilovers are better? From your guys research- what positives and negitaves have you found about each brand..

Someone also mentioned shocks and springs would be cheaper... I found a little information on that, but im just debating weather that or coilovers..

yes all coilovers are height adjustable, unfortunatley to adjust them you will need to take off the wheels and do it with a wrench. some COs also have a damper adjuster too.

if you dont want to spend a bunch of money find a spring thats not too low but is low enough and then buy the bilstein groved shocks, those are adjustable but it takes some work.

Okay.. i do have a car lift and such.. lifting would not be a problem. However i do still want to find out more about lowering..

Are there companies that sell a shock and spring kit for the car??

Can anybody post a link of some cheap places online and such?

The Tein basic coilovers are under 1k, and are very popular.
