lowering springs help needed

Default lowering springs help needed

can anyone advise if i get the eibach pro kit spring set front & rear 1" drop if i would have problems with and rubbing etc ? i have
18x9 265/35 rear & 18x8 245/35 front
b7 a4 fwd sports suspension
any help / advice would be appreciated

The drop listed by Eibach and everyone else is the amount below stock non-sport height. Sport is about 3/4" lower than non-sport. So the Eibach kit will drop your car about another 1/4". If you want it lower, you need to get race springs or coilovers from H&R, Neuspeed or some other supplier.
And to answer your question, lowering your car an inch lower than sport height should not cause any rubbing.

tks man so i could also go with the h&r coli overs and adjust to the height i want ?

also if i go with the springs alone would my shock blow out soon ? or you think go with trhe coil overs one time to save any damage ?

Most people sayto replace the shocks if you put on new springs. If you decide to go with the Eibach spings or the sport springs from H&R or Neuspeed,I think your stock shocks will be fine...those springs will only lower your car an additional 1/4-3/8".

If you get the race springs from H&R or Neuspeed, you should install new shocks at the same time. The race springs don't play well with the stock shocks.
