Damping is a aspect of a coilover system that you can adjust on most coilovers. The damping level or (spring rate) is how tight you want your shocks to be, the higher the damping the stiffer the ride. Its a pain to adjust so buy a kit that already has the damping pre-set like the koni's from Stasis engineering.

Link doesn't work But:

Coilovers pretty much the best struts you can buy. You can Lower and raise the height a tad rather than just having a set lowering spot.

Also some of the best control.

so you drive a ?

the link you provided is for;
Eibach Sport-System Audi A4 2002-2006 (Avant Wagon 2WD 4 Cyl. B6/B7)

so I will assume u have a B6/B7 fwd wagon?

I didn't even know thay made the wagon fwd...but I don't know a damn think about the newer avants....

the kit in your link is for shocks and springs...they will work fine...the downside is that they are not adjustable.....

hope that helps....gl!

Unless you have seen that kit on a car like yours, id go with coilovers. Its just a live and learn thing, and i regret having lowering springs and no way of going any lower
