Default MAF

hi,
just a quick question...
i disconnected the MAF on my car and took it for a drive. the car is much quicker and seems to have much more power than it has when the MAF is connected...
does this mean my MAF is faulty or not?
it is not showing as faulty on tha vag-com, just a message saying mixturer adaption above limit when the MAF was connected..

This is what happens when you start a new thread about an old thread.. You lose info.. Not to be a smartass... Just saying...
