I bought a remanufactured MAF from ECS Tuning last July. It has worked well. Other than the code, how's the drivability?

My book has 17536 Bank 1 Mixture adaption air (mult.) System too lean

if your car is under 80K it is covered by the dealer. its part of emissions, so theyll replace it.

i just had my maf replaced by the dealer for free. if it's under 80k miles and 8 years, it should be covered by the warranty.

does that apply for Audi in UK?

getting P1557 fault code very intermittently ... ( A3 2002 1.8 TDI ) so figure either hoses, maf, or n75.

Been doing some searching on forums and sounds like a sensor problem of some sort - switch it off and all okay again.
I've no idea ( newbie to forum and engines in general ) how to test each so reckon Audi service may be way to sort it out.

If it was hoses, it would be more frequent, wouldn't it?

cheers
