When I start my car sometimes it makes 4 beeps out of the speakers. What does this mean? If I shut the car off then trun it back on it doesn't do it again. Only after its been sitting for a while.

Buy an owners manual from the dealer, never heard of the radio beeping before.

aftermarket alarm by any chance???

 

No aftermarket alarm and I do have an owners manual but it doesn't say. It's probably nothing though but I was just curious if anyone else heard of this before.

It is the backup battery on your alarm horn going bad. Been posted about numerous times on other B6 forums, usually about weekly. B5 guys not really familiar with this one. Here is latest post on AW. OP could be this guy, probably, or just coincedence, since it is posted about so much:
