Tom,

What happened did you crash?

ORIGINAL: TomRitt

Finally got back to school sunday night, yesterday after class I had my friend tow me down the road to the autoshop with his durango and some rope, and we pulled the motor. Took about 3hrs to get the motor out, pretty easy. then we started tearing down the motor. Today we ripped the head off and the rest of the motor parts. the bottom end is going to be made into a coffee table with a glass top, the head has some bent valves but im going to fix it and sell it.

Today I put a deposit on a motor with 22k mi on it, and an alternator, waterpump and timing belt 5k mi old. The forged rods are not on the market until Jan 1st so I will be pulling the motor in January and doing rods and a 6 puck clutch. I'm also switching to 580cc injectors and a vr6 obd1 throttle body.

Anyways heres the pics of the carnage

My new ice thats how i roll

I showed those pictures to a co-worker a couple of hours ago and he said, "aren't those blocks cast iron?" I said, "yes they are". He then says, "Hoooooolllllleeeeee sheeeeeeeeet!"

Quite the specticle, Tom. I'm impressed more and more everytime I open this thread.
