RE: MAP & MAF Bad
yeah no worries i've got no plans on running lean and blowin sh*t up. don't actually have a mbc hooked up yet, but it will be once i find a testpipe and throw in my ko4. what should i set my boost at for a pc-16 file? 18-20psi???

RE: MAP & MAF Bad
hmm well if you can hold 8-10psi with the mbc then youre probably right about the n75 being a cracked out. Just dont crank it up too much cuz limp mode isnt going to save your engine from leaning out too much since youre pre 2000.

haha no i'm not going to bump it up, its my daily driver and the only reason i'm using a mbc is because it was easier and cheaper to get than a n75. plus i figured it would help with spiking once i get my pc-16 file in.

dude, your not boosting, if what the audi mechanic says is right, because your thrust sensor is bad
it doesn't exactly put you in limp, it just won't allow your car to boost, it could be the n75, but a new one is like 35 bucks right?
if you need a new thrust sensor, go to the vw dealer, they are cheaper than audi
all in all, a new maf and thrust cost me 254, both brand new, a new maf at audi was like 300, and the thrust was 237 i think, so i got both just above what a thrust would of cost me
see if there is one in a local junk yard
