Mass Air Flow Sensor-Help
have the codes checked, the MAF is blamed for many things when it could be down to an air leak/spark plus/bad fuel its common to blame the MAF because its expensive to replace but just changing it without checking properly is a bad way to fix problems you will end up changing this unnecessarily
also, the MAF is covered under warranty for 7 years/70k miles. you should get a CEL code if the MAF sensor is busted. in that case, if you're still under the warranty limit, take it to a dealer becasue the MAF is expensive to replace.
