i have an 02 fwd 5 speed a4, 50,000...i have an mtm chip and larger injectors installed...my question is, i have a large wosshing sound coming from the right side of my engine whenever i am at full throttle, almost like a hose underneath is torn..maybe where the bypass valve is...my boost is still at 15-16lbs...is this the turbo just working harder since i got it chipped..seat of the pants power feels a little off but it could just be my mind...is it possible to be losing power from a hose and still boost full pressure???i dont have any error codes or anything...thnkas...

 

could it be the diverter valve, if anything?

 

Did you upgrade your DV after getting chipped? The stock one wont last long after getting chipped. Upgrade to a Bosch 710N or better if you havent. That could be your problem.
