Got the car in the dealership for service with the MIL on.

They could'nt found where is the problem after searched for 2 hours.
Finally, after another hour, they told me that the TCM need to be replaced, quote for$2250.

I just couldn't believed this, because there is nothing happened during the last9 months( or13000 miles) of drove, except the MLP was on99% ofthe time.

Guess I will just keep diving with MIL on untill some otherthingshows up.

Wish me luck.

the abs sensor is the speed sensor. it's wierd how it doesn't say which one though. the TCM usually doesn't go bad.
changing the sensor is really easy. just take off the wheel. then look behing the rotor and you'll see this sensor that goes into the hub. just pull it out and replace it. it can be pretty hard to get out if you have alot of rust though. good luck

Im gonna dis-agree, the CVT TCM's are famous for going bad, in fact there is a TSB for certain models to replace it. That quote is freaking bogus, the module can't be more than $1,000 and it isn't too hard to replace. Its in the tail housing of the tranny, you just need to buy a T45 socket and take off the rear housing, take off a couple of bolts on the module and pull it off. It really shouldn't take longer than 1 hour to do the whole job. You will need a VAG COM to code the new control module though.

Forgot to mention that I did bought the abs and speed sensor module.
Replaced the right side one, went to autozone to got the code cleared, MIL came back on after 1 mile drove. Same thing happened to the left side one.

So it's at somewhere else.

Thanks.

17106 P0722 Output Speed Sensor Circuit No Signal

This refers to the speed sensor near the transmission.
Check that the wire is connected.

O.K.
So if it just the connection problem, why the dealer couldn't found it?

The qoute down to 50% goodwill off, so it's $1125 now.

I don't know should I go for it or not bacause the car didn't gave me any problem besides the MIL.

Is there any syndromes showsup when the TCM need to be replaced?

A transmission code should appear.
