Turns out my dad might hit me up with some mille miglia 17" F20 rims. Anyone have these? Im pretty pumped but what do i do about lowering, i def need to right?

17's you can get away with out lowerng, definately if you have sport suspension already... in 2001 17's were an option. with 18's, lowering is a must, in my opinion.

Even with 17's an A4 will look like an SUV without sport suspension.

I don't have the sport susp. so im just gonna purchase some lowering springs. Thanks

Hope you plan on changing the shocks too. After about 6 months (or less), your shocks will be worn out, then you'll be stuck replacing them and paying for a second alignment.

Yeah, I have sport... so its already 20mm lowering than a non-sport, so I think I can get away with 17's... edgeracing.com has a great deal on the 18" fliks... but I couldnt in good conscience put them on my car, without lowering it.

And no, dont do springs alone... bad business for your shocks. Check audizine and audiworld... there are used coilovers and spring/shock combo's that I've seen sell over there for great prices.
