yo yo, trust me, some guys on these forums can be a$s holes as well..
but if you dont plan on engine mods than get the 3.0... ITS WAY MORE LUXURIOUS THAN A 1.8... it comes with REAL leather, dual power seats, most all of them have HID XENONS and a moonroof with the BOSE sound system and it comes with WOODGRAIN and CHROME WINDOW TRIM which makes the car far superior than a 1.8 IF you dont plan on modding.
the 3.0 runs a low 15 all day long, and the 1.8 runs a 16.5 all day long... its a long shot when comparing stock vs stock, the 3.0 will rape the 1.8 all day long. In my 30v 2.8 2001 I run over 1.8s all day long with ease with just an intake.
I think I know what kinda look and style your trying to achieve and the 3.0 seems the way you should go..

def. like the 3.0 def. like the 1.8t i guess it going to be a coin toss! lol but for 500.00 the 1.8t can push 235 hp on 93 octane those are pretty good numbers for a chip and injectors! i can only imagine the numbers with an upgraded turbo! im really excited! the mini truckin world was fun, i will miss it but i believe this world will be much better! thanks for all of the help guys! -mike
