No, No, No...we're off on a tangent in the wrong direction. I am replacing the whole mirror, housing, etc. with a new composite-type encased power mirror. I don't think the replacement is heated. So...that clarified, how do you do it?

 

OH. I dunno.
Prolly pretty easy... most mirrors come off from the inside of the door.
Just let the old wires hang somewheres (with the plugs still attached!)
