Default misfire!

my 1998 A4 Quattro is misfiring like crazy right after i just replaced the wires and plugs

i know it has nothing to do with the valve cover gaskets i put in, cause that was 2 weeks ago and it was fine since then

someone help me figure out what is wrong

it sounds like my cats are gonna blow up and i have to drive to work everyday, i don't want to blow my engine, so i need help asap

Check the codes:

I don't know squat about the 2.8, but it's probably:

A. 1 (or more) wires are not secure. Re-seat 'em.

B. 2 or more wires got crossed and now go to the wrong cylinder. Replacing the wires one at a time is usually the best way to prevent this.

C. Are you sure the store gave you the right plugs/wires?

Get it fixed asap, i was having some problems and ended up bending a valve. I know 1.8t isnt the same, but i think you have a good guess as to what your problem is, take the time get it fixed.

i did all of it one at a time, cause i know im not an expert but the order is obvious anyhow
4-5-6
3-2-1 < am i right?

where can i find the proper order to run them?

if you look on your coil packs it shows a mini diagram what one goes to what cylinder. the cylinders are numbered on the valve cover right next to the spark plug holes.
