I have misfiring all cylinders an a maf codes. The car has a rough idle it goes up an down from 8 to 12 an some time it will rev to 20. I don't have power loss the car seems fine. It dose jerk or buck sometimes in first gear. Need help plez. On a 2000 a4 1.8t quttro

 

A bad mass air flow sensor can cause misfire codes. Good idea to replace mass air flow sensor , reset faults & see what happens.

 

OK now the car will not run it just died an you turn it on runs for a sec then dies still think it is a mass

 

Try disconnecting the mass & see what happens.

 

OK i have pulled it all out cleaned it an let it sit we will see what happens
