haha ya its been under the knife for a bit bc my liscence r suspended right now for traffic violations...lol...so im transforming her. no time now then right now to do it. shes about done though and i will take it for a spin although im not supposed too my goal is to be the fastest k04 out there and prove you can run mid 13 with a k04. i know it can be done. im getting rid of my software though and going custome though bc i have a 01 and no one has made upgrade files for my car. from what i have found from some board members is that the 01 have a lower compression ratio then previous years and a few other things.

We use Mobil 1 0W-40 because it meets VWs standard. My local dealer told me, I could use any motor oil that meets ACEA A3 or higher.

What would you recommend for Texas weather? I use Mobil 1 5w30 now, but thinking I should change.

So I guess the 0w40 isn't too thin?

I received that same infor but misplaced it somewhere. 0w40 just seems too thin for me, but I guess it's okay since Audi says it is.

If you were worried about being too think you could do what I do in the summer. ELF 10-w40 or if it is really hot 15-w50. In the winter I like the cold start of mobil 1 0-w40 though.
