I think you should throw in a VR6 with a GT42R. That's just me though.

An 88 stang would be really cheap to mod. Plus it sounds like the one you have in mind is already ready to run. I'd go that route.

I've gone a similar route with a Firehawk. You really get the best of both worlds. The Audi is smooth, refined, easy on the eyes, respected, and gets pretty good gas mileage. But I have never been in an Audi thatfeels asfiendish asa properly modded American RWD V8. It's not refined, it's not good on gas mileage, and girls don't get it. But you can't beat the sound of a healthy V8 rumbling down the road. The torque kicking you in the back everytime you hammer down. Mmmm that's good stuff.

But trust me I cherish the ride my Audi gives me. Such a night and day difference. It's the route I went and the route I suggest. Plus if your setup is right, Evos and SRT-4s won't even try and race you. Supras and Vipers on the other hand... It's saves alot of wear and tear, not to mention tickets.

Best of luck,
Mike

Are cars are not for the strip they are for the track. A drag race does not show who has a better car, jsut faster. You'll school an srt4 on the track after mods.

Hey man keep the car and mod it up, I have a turbo type r civic hatchback with a whole lot of sh*t done to it and it does low 12's on the track I love that car but my audi A4 is classy sporty luxury all in one and i feel alot more mature driving this car then when i was driving my civic. My opinon keep ur car and get the evo. You must have alot of money to be considering those cars cause insurance in jersey would kill me on that car.....

NuYorka103185, im sure your list and prices helps this guy a lot. the prices are reasonable but your total cost is just the materials.

steelcitysfinest69: if your gonna mod and do it yourself then go for it, but if your gonna pay a place to install everything for you, its gonna cost a s*** load more.

just trying to help

yeah i know, i def. WONT be doing any of this work myself. I figured more like 5-6g's instead of 3500. Any mods i do to my A4 will just be for a lil extra power. I basically talked my self out of any Styling upgrades (bodykits, wheels etc.)
