Default Modding the A4 big time

Hello all. Thanks for reading.
I currently own a Dodge SRT-4. Great little car, very happy with it as a matter of fact, but I may be on the market for a new car.
I thought of the A4 because I really do like Audis and I like 4 doors. Now... Im a fan of Rally inspired cars. Hence why I arrived @ the SRT-4. Yes I know, FWD, American made yada yada. At the time, the EVO and STi were out of my range. I was looking @ the A4 to take the SRTs place, but in order to do that, I want it to have the power of my SRT.
I currently have a Stage 3 no toys computer & turbo , full turbo back, Intercooler, Intake, thorttle body and more. @ the dyno doing about 320whp and 330wtq. While I havent been to the track much, especially never with slicks, the car is made to be a 12 second car with a good driver ( maybe not me :P lol).

I saw a possibly heavy modded A4 the other day that sounded SICK, huge intercooler in the front, carbon fiber hood, and wing. Nota huge fan of the wing, but the rest, yes.

Ive been searching, and will continue to search through the forums, but I honestly have 0 idea when it comes to modding an A4.
Im looking for:
Turbo often used with A4s to put me somewhere in the 350-400hp range to be similar in power to the SRT-4 (SRT is much lighter).
Looking for I suppose 3' turboback . What are the options?

What are the price ranges on setups to put you @ 400~whp? this would include: computer, trubo, injectors, intercooler, exhaust, intake, fuel system, etc, etc

Back with the SRT, you had a choice to make. go Mopar Stages and basically not have to worry about tuning, or tune with a big turbo. I chose Mopar because of the obvious "easy mode". Is there anything similar for A4s?

Thanks in advance for any help you guys can give me.

the best thing to do IMO is to get a gt30r or a gt35r turbo depending on future plans..those setups are good for 380-500hp...but you would obviously have to change pistons and other internals...i have heard of audis being able to handle 400hp.

as for prices the turbo is a good 2g's, computer would be around 600$, injectors would be probably round 600-700, intercooler is a good 1100$, exhaust 3" piping with a test pipe to a borla or magnaflow muffler, intake 200-450 depending on brand, and go with a stand alone fuel management

hope this covers most things for u im sure i missed something that someone else will catch
GOODLUCK

gt28rs - 350 hp
gt2871r - 400 hp
gt3071r - 450 hp
gt35r - 600 hp

these are numbers at the crank

What are the price ranges on setups to put you @ 400~whp? this would include: computer, trubo, injectors, intercooler, exhaust, intake, fuel system, etc, etc
a LOT. anything gt2871r and up you'll also have to get new rods. your looking at, at least, 5-6g's. and thats if your doing all the work yourself.

Back with the SRT, you had a choice to make. go Mopar Stages and basically not have to worry about tuning, or tune with a big turbo. I chose Mopar because of the obvious "easy mode". Is there anything similar for A4s?

hmm.. so in order to achieve 400~, I would actually need to change internals/pistons, cams and such?
I thought the 2.0 would be a good engine to handle the power.
I am familiar with the GT35r, great turbo. Is there any particular website or vendor who supplies several items from the list? Instead of going to 1 place for turbo, another for exhaust, etc, etc?

i dont think you'll need new pistons. they come forged stock. but you will need new rods.

www.goapr.com

or you could go s4 and start moding it, 2.7bi-turbo motor..... probably get you to what you want easier

i would go s4 if i were you, but then again i have an a4 and understand what just doing the tuning and exhaust did to my 1.8...... if i did that same thing to a s4

oh yeah, if you look around on audizine, most of those a4 guys have gone bt, just search and start reading the 100's of threads

there arent any all out turbo kits that will get you into that kind of power
i would probably do
2871
atp mani
scat rods
injectors
software (revo, unitronics, chris tapp) (or 034 standalone)
southbend clutch
3" test pipe
3" downpipe
3" downpipe back
and of course all of the crap to go with it
fmic
oil and coolant lines
inlet pipe
maf or map sensor depending on tune
etc etc etc

the only kit that comes to mind is the apr stage 3 iirc is around 320 whp
atp eliminator series kits gt28rs etc, they come with a crappy tune and none of the extra's
