ok I will have about 2 grand (after car taxes, credit card payment, etc) to drop on some major shiznat for the car.
Suspension is already bought, wheels are bought... Chip will be bought immediately. K04 is out of the question for now.

- Forge Diverter Valve
- Electric Boost gauge - center vent
- Samco Coolant Hose Kit
- Painted front grill surround - same color as car
- Brushed Aluminum tiptronic shifter plate
- New stereo components (speakers, amps, subs)
- Indash 7" touchscreen
- Carputer 2.0
- Greddy Turbo Timer
- Borla Cat-back Exhaust

What boost gauge are ya lookin at? I love that center vent look! another VDO?

Is the DV and the Hose Kit more for show or are they for extending the longevity after you chip it. Those hose kits come in pretty colors..that's mainly why I ask(pretty or needed?...or both).

hmm Xenon action is a possibility. That would be last on the list tho.

There will definitely be before and after pics. The DV is going in to replace the stock one, which will likely die within an couple months of the chip going in. The Samco hoses I have always wanted, but they serve no real purpose except for show (unless your stock hoses are deteriorating). BTW - I'll have those pics this evening.

I am going to attack this Avant like a mad scientist.

Brrman...I am looking for a 7 inch in dash touch screen display..but I was wondering if you or imolas4 knew a good and cheap site to get one and exactly, again i repeat, EXACTLY what I need to set it up. Right now the front dash for my 99 2.8 Quattro is stock. So I was wondering what I needed to set it up. Also I have a wooden trim? If I do get a indash 7" touch screen monitor would that ruin the trim or be able to keep the wooden trim?

You were able to save the wheels I take it? Or maybe, maybe even better yet, the insurance company ponied for new ones? Whe do you get it? Or do you already have it?
