Oh and does Chipping or any other mods hurt the engine or void warranties?

Yeah. Chipping doesn't hurt the engine. A dealer *might* deny you warranty coverage if they find that you've modified your ECU, depends on the dealer in question, but also whether they find out. I think that nowawdays a chip is just a reflash. Impossible to tell from the engine bay unless they drive it around.

I'd forget the NAV and get a 2.0T

The 6 speed manuel is MORE MORE fun to drive.
Like some of us, I can't stand the auto tranny, it's annoying.
I also prefer the sound of the turbo.

There is no chip for the 2005.5-up yet.
But IMHO, now on, chips come "reflashable", so we can swich to the original back.

For what it's worth, if you're not able to find a 2.0T w/ Nav+, retrofitting an RNS-E system into your B7 could be an option. It may not be the optimal solution, but it's a lot easier to add a navigation system if you end up missing it than it would be swapping engines if you ultimately regret the 3.2.

Just a thought...good luck with the shopping!

This presents a problem. I already put a down payment on a dolphin grey 06 not 05.5 loaded 3.2. Nav is important, the chances of finding a 2.0 w/ nav is imposible. I like the 2.0 but do you think I should forget the nav?
You could always go with an aftermarket NAV system. I mean... your apparently super rich; you can afford to have someone fabricate a custom system that looks stock.

Take the money you were going to spend on a NAV and keep 400 children from starving to death in Niger!
