Have you thought about selling it & getting a Quattro? It may be wise, as you will be heavier but faster (get grip faster). If not then maybe save up another 2k or so and get big ***** trucker turbo. I think they are the GT28rs or there is a new bolt on turbo called the eliminator check below. No one here has this new kit I dont think so you can be our guinea pig.

The worlds most powerful FWD had I believ 330hp tested by Top gear it was an Alfa Romeo or something. As stated 300hp will have you spinning the wheels, sell the car and put the money you have on a down payment for a B5 S4
I dont understand this statement at all, are you saying the world's most powerful car in stock trim is 330hp? Well that maybe the case, but there are thousands of 300+HP'd fwd guys out there. I know them, many turbo/built honda's in the positive 300's, and Mitsu. GSt's making 350 or so. Yes, they have their handicaps, mostly wheel spin and torque steer. However, AWD has its cons too including added drivetrain loss and weight. My last car was a turbo awd mitsu. and I dont miss the terrible gas mileage and drivetrain loss associated with awd. Most of my pulls, races, or whatever you all chose to call them are from rolls, hence FWD is preferable.

I love front wheel drive, and thus the reason for me keeping my a4 w/ no quattro- lighter, and gas mileage!

FWD is ok if you only like going in a straight line now if you want to take your A4 to a real track with some corners you will wish you had one with quattro and trust me 1/4 mile gets pretty boring pretty fast anyone can drive in a straight line

I was in the same boat you were when I was looking for an A4. I wanted FWD because it'd save me 300lbs and I'd be looking at about 17% drivetrain loss rather than 25%. I decided that I should drive a quattro just to make sure and I changed my mine quickly. But to each is own. And yea, i'm not getting the 330hp FWD either. A guy where I live is drag racing a 700+hp Integra.
