Default Motor ticking

I just got my test pipe installed today. When I started driving my car I did not hear any ticking. About 2 minutes into driving the car my engine started ticking only under heavy acceleration. If I barely use the gas you can barely hear it. If im not under any load sitting somewhere and just free rev the car you cannot hear any ticking. Before when I had the catalytic converter on, my engine would tick until the car was warmed up a bit. It did not tick when free revving though. I was told it could be valve lifters but im not sure. Any ideas?

could be serious and called pinking this is when fuel/air mix is wrong and mostly happens when engine is under load, when doing mods you have to consider the fuel rating and in most cases this is where the problem is from.

use higher octane and see if the noise goes ( failure to stop it will burn your valves out )

I have always used 93 octane (Shell V-Power) so I don't think thats the problem

I have always used 93 octane and that's where it begins ( you modded your engine right ) so try higher octane
