I would hardly call my town a city...most of the time I only have to stop at 2-3 lights...and I can go about 30-40 all the way through...maybe it's cause I live in the hills? I don't think vehicles like going up hills...they get angry and try to **** you off by using more fuel...

I am using a product call Revitalyzer, I used to have it on my Subaru WRX, now my B7, 2.0T. I have 35 mpg on highway (580 miles full tank with cruise speed 70mph), even city I get 28 mpg (Around 480 miles), and I used the G-Tech meter, it shows that, I've gained 10 hp and 9 lbs-ft of torque.
I used to have more gain on my Subaru WRX.

Yup same... 420ish highway.. Low to mid 300's city.
That is a about what I get too. I have noticed that if you are cruising at about 90-100mph the whole time, your mileage actually goes up. At least on my car with the gtrs it does...lol.

I also have noticed the same thing as all of you: stop and go absolutely kills your MPG...

On my A3 2.0t I get maybe 420-450 high way, but under 300 city-mostly convservative driving. Does anyone else coast in sixth gear whenever they can?

Well I think I can get such a great mileage is because (a). My car is brand new 2006. (b). I always set on cruise speed whenever I can & I don't tend to heavy paddle through every "yellow light" in city.
And increase hp don't necessary decrease your gas mileage, it's all about how you drive.(Let's not forget your engine originally has more hp on it.)
As for my 2003 Subaru WRX has a hp increase for more than 20hp,but the gas mileage is only around 26mpg, coz I have a lead foot when I drive that car....
I loved the product, I'm thinking about upgrade the product once I chip it.

I agree that city driving kills mileage. I drive a pretty good blend of both. However, one thing I have noticed in just about every car I have owned, the second half is always worse, if you go by the fuel gauge. I would get all excited in my '02 Honda, thinking I was going to get 45+ when I checked the trip at 1/2 tank, then it settled in the 34-38 range once I checked at the pump when refueling near empty. I think it is a conspiracy.

I think the second half it smaller than the first half...so I guess that would be the bottom of the tank? LoL...It is a conspiracy...and it's run by elves!
