Mustang??

RE: Mustang??
Well, you need to clarify.
there are as many flavors of mustang as there are ice cream. There are 6cy, 8 cly, shelby, gt's, different years have different packages...etc.
So, it all depends on which mustang and year you mean. Heck, I used to have a slow as hell 4 banger mustang like 20 years ago. It was a piece O Sheet
So, you could beat a slow mustang, but a fast mustang could kill you.
I just saw a brand new shelby mustang vert the other day at my son's lacrosse game. Mustangs are way down at the bottom of my car list, but man that was a nice vehicle as far as stangs go. I bet it was real fast.

RE: Mustang??
Not to drift off topic, but wheres the best spot to buy a bolt on, simple K04 application for a 2003 Audi 1.8T... I was looking at ATP but they seem so over priced its not funny.. should it really be $2300? I thought it could be done for less?

RE: Mustang??
Just to clarify also... I generally stay away from late model Cobras but will take on any other Rustang. If it's a twisty road from a dead stop I'll take on the Cobras, too.
As for the K04 setup, if you buy the parts, turbo, and software separately, you can save lots of money. But you loose the ease of having a kit that you know works and all the parts are good with each other. You really should know exactly what you need and how to do it if you want to source "a la carte".

RE: Mustang??
I was on the freeway this past weekend.... Poor little mustang GT he tried and tried but I kept playing with him. I would give him a little jump then get on it and pass him like it was nothing.... of course it helps that I have a GTRS [sm=smiley20.gif] I tell you the turbo doesnt feel that fast but when you get on it your up to 100 in no time...
