ORIGINAL: kemp_travis

well thats weird, im running a stock k03 with an MBC on 14psi, and mine is7.x sec atleast. and on your 40-80....try doing a brake boost...that will help a ton.

your 0-60 was faster when you DIDNT brake stand it...i think your closer to 8sec though

FMIC has nothing to do with it, SMIC's are better than most think
dude, someone needs to gag you so you stfu...... a brake boost? on a manual car, you could do one of 2 things to spool your turbo, and that would be downshift and hope you don't break anything or take it outof gear and spool up like you would from a dig and hope you don't break anything

josh, i would say a tip chip should help, and a fmic should help, but if you are running a ko4 on a tip car, you are only going to be slightly faster than a ko3 on a manual, cause we can run the psi up and get alot better launch that a tip should be able too.......... i think

here is my sugestion and i might get flammed for telling you to "street race" but find some of your budies with ko3 and ko4's and race them, see what your car does compared to theirs

I still have stock exhaust and I have a K&N drop in panel filter. I also have the airbox mod to get a little more fresh air to the turbo. I am going to try and get a new exhaust here soon. I know that is probably causing problems as well.

you could get a muffler for about 30 bucks or so off ebay and a shop could make the rest for around 200

what about cat, would you recommend a test pipe or a high-flow cat? Or stock cat (which I can't imagine is good).

if you don't have emissions laws up there i would say go tp, but if you are in cali, which i know does do hfc, better than paying like a grand or something for not having a cat

well I am moving back to Washington state. They have emissions but since I am AWD they can't have me run the engine up. All they do is plug in the computer and test everything. So as long as i don't get a cell I will be fine. They never look either.
