Here are some pics, they look like *** in the rain... all rusty

You can see my new winter wheels though! Needed some 16's to fit over these brakes... they are the B5 S4 OEM winter wheels.

ORIGINAL: thebbk

Must see.... did you have to use hardware from the A8, or did the A4 hardware workout?
Well, I think I already mentioned... but all I used was the audi TT caliper CARRIERS... and Audi A8 rotors from a 99 4.2Q.
You retain the stock A4 caliper and pads. It's sort of a ... "medium brake kit" haha

Thanks I wish they didn't rust... I didn't bother with zinc plating, because everybody says it just flakes off after a few months anyhow. Looking at them now though, a day old... with the light rust on them... blah. Maybe I'll take them off and paint the hats and fins of the rotor... hmm.

If you want so that the brakes would less be rusty, all you have t do is burn then. Basically wat you do is drive and aply little brake, thously converting kinetic to the termal energy. You do this bit by bit. it may take a while, but you drive one way block burning then back burning. stop and check by touching the rim, not brake system if hot. Get it hot enough, and then cool it, the rotors wont rust for like a week if it would rain all week and car is not moving.

IT IS VERY DANGEROUS!!!!
IF heated to much the rotors would warp, the car would burst into flames and earth beneath the car would open and .................
ah just would damage the rotors and brake system and the brake liquid would boil, blah, blah, blah.......

Yeah I've often wondered if that does any good or not as well. They still look nice. Where did you get your hands on the parts?

You definately need fronts.

I had found a wrecker in USA that would sell me a pair of calipers AND carriers for... 175 USD I believe. You could likely sell the calipers, and just use the carriers. OR ecs tuning has the kit on sale still, I believe. Comes with carriers and rotors for 299.
