Dealer says #4 pack and a new maf.... says my K&N took out my maf. This is a little hard to believe since I've only had the filter on there for 3 weeks. Anyhow, I should have it back in an hour or so, if my problem is fixed then I'm happy.

 

You may have put too much oil on the air filter.

 

they come pre-oiled...or atleast mine did...and i've had no problems with it in my 2.8

 

K&Ns from the facroty have WAY too much oil residue on them. Blot them with a towel to help that. Try cleaning your MAf and if that doesn't help you may need a replacement.
