Fellas I was driving kinda rough and fast, then stopped at a stop light and the light turned green, I put it in first and almost stalled the engine. So I put it back it 1st and tried again and this is what started to happen.

1) No power.
2) When you hit the gas the car shakes alot.
3) when you let go of the gas it doesn't shake as much.
4) Sounds like a lawn mower.
5) when idling the car shakes alot also.
6) No leaks anywhere, everything looks intact

All I have on it is a custom intake, it's under the lemon law warranty so I'm not that worried, but someone please tell me what could be wrong with my engine..

 

sounds like a misfire

 

any fault codes??

 

The check engine light is sometimes blinking and sometimes solid..

 

miss fire. check the plugs and the coil packs

 

get it scanned for check engine codes.

Car may be in limp-mode which might explain why their is no power. But I doubt that would cause the car to shake.

Sounds like it could be a major problem. The first step to diagnosing the problem would be to find out what codes it is throwing, and then go from there. If you don't have access to a vag-come, take it to an autozone, they will scan the code for free with their obdII tool. Then let us know what codes are pulled.

 

definately sounds like a coilpack/misfire problem. do what they said and get it vagged or scanned.. but really vagcom is cheap and pays for itself. you should invest in that after you figure this out

 

ITS A MISS FIRE! 110% sure had the same thing. Dont worry too much you can fix that for cheap.

 

cylinder 3 missfire guys not that big a deal thank god..
