If you want loud put a cone filter on and buy a splitter valve. I personally love my 006, it is very audible especially with 20psi and the windows rolled down.

 

my custom K and N intake w/ a 710 running stock boost on a Ko3 makes heads turn....

it is surprisingly loud...but its only when I am boostin 8 or 9 psi and let off the gas and hit the clutch at the same time...through the gears accelerating it isn't nery loud

 

my stock diverter valve makes that sneezing noise to... but only when the car is cold and its pretty cold outside... but that only happen when u go above 3000rpms when the car is cold... <- which is horrible for your car when its not warmed up

 

004 is a splitter right? what would sound louder, 007 or a 710?

 

my 007 is anything but quiet... it is very distinkt and sounds like Darth Vader Whoooshhhhh, i think you'll like it... after all darth vader is as manly as it gets haha

 

no 004 is a BOV. the splitter is a hybrid valve. you can make it full DV, full BOV, or only venting a percentage of the air and diverting the rest.

the 004 is louder than any dv period and a 007 is louder than a 710

 

So would you say I will be fine if I use a splitter DV with my diode mod and hpbc running at about 16psi? would an intake help? Im worried that I will get a code..

 

you can run any dv, or any bov that runs closed at idle and you wont throw a code. the splitter gives the nice ability to allow switching between them, but is more expensive.

and an intake will only help if you get a dv, not a bov.

 

but wouldnt I be running rich if I just put on a bov? thats why I was thinking of putting on the splitter so maybe it wont be that bad..
