My car has a cold!
only if you get a BOV that leaks at idle. For the loudest and safest thing go with a Forge 004 BOV. It is closed at idle so you will not throw any codes. I have one and love it, it is a wonderful sound when you are wide open getting on the freeway.
I dont mean to keep asking the same question but I dont undersand, If the air is not being recirculated, wouldnt the car not get the air that it thinks its getting so it would run rich? what would I do with the pipe that runs back to the intake from the dv?
it is before the maf, so it wll adujust to the amount of air that enters the engine, it is not expecting anything. It reads the amount of air coming in and then allows the poroper amount of fuel. In terms of the line running from the DV to the air box, just plug it. ECS sells a billet one for 10 bucks, but any thing can be used to plug it really.
the air is actually injected after the MAF in the TIP. but if you have a MAP sensor in the car it readjusts before the air reaches the cylinders. if you dont have a MAP, you will run slightly rich for a second. oh no! your engine's gona blow![
] with a chip your running leaner than stock anyways, so i doubt it does any damage. the only thing it could possibly damage is a cat over an extended period of time, and even thats debatable. and the 004 comes with a 1" billet plug to plug the hole in the TIP.

This is the 004 we are talking about right? http://www.forgemotorsport.com/conte...roduct=FMDV004
I use the forge valve, and I love it..and my DV is verry audible.. I'll try to get a clip up, you can hear it VERY clearly outside or inside the car often... so if that annoys you I dont recommend this mod.
