My car needs to go on diet...
I would just take out your back seat, spare tire, trunk liner, jack etc. I weighed and totaled it to around 108 lbs. I can feel a real difference. Also you could do it all in under 5 min. so if you want it back in its super quick.

Unsprung weight would be brakes, wheels, tires, lower control arms, the shock/spring assembly itself and that's it. Granted, each unsprung pound does significantly more to your performance than taking away weight that's accounted for by the suspension, but there's only so much you can do about that.
And Toff, if you get a real carbon fiber body panel, it's more like 4 pounds (2 kilograms?) not 15. Regular steel hoods and trunks weigh between (roughly) 20-30 pounds.
Evil, compared to other AWD sedans, the A4 isn't too bad. A WRX is almost 3100, an STi is about 3250, an Evo is within a couple pounds of the STi. A manual, 1.8T Quattro sedan is about 3250. It's just down on horsepower to an STi by exactly 100 percent.

Is that right?
Also... Im not looking at this car for the investment... the S4 is going to go down too, they are both a waste of money to mod. Im going to have this car for a damn long time.

Is that right, though? 2998 for the 1.8t? Thats lighter than a WRX...

Its a lot less ugly that the predesessor! At least it has a discernable style to it now. I think its a big improvment, but b7y no means a 'pretty' car! The evo beats it on looks alone.
