I find if you bury the gas you get less of a response on a launch... Next time try launching at 3-4k rpm and then slowly bury the pedal... you'll get a faster rate of accelleration and the turbo will kick in much better... Also, first gear is kinda slow but second gear will really kick you forward..... and lastly, don't waste your time comparing your ride to anAztec. Studies show that people who buy Minivans and SUV's lose 50-80 points off their IQ the minute they drive one off the lot

I actually have had the displeasure of owning not one but two ateks and as gay as they look and how horribly they perform the only aspect i like it better than my a4 was that it was faster off the line. i am stock but the only mod i made to them were cold air intakes. they still handeldedhorribly and could only hit 107 cause it had atop speed limiter. dont feel bad comming from experienceany audiis miles ahead of an aztek

yeah i know. i dont know if youve been following what happened but my cars totled so its actually a salvaged car now so its gunna b worthless to everyone but me.

 

if that 7k was all put towards the engine, you would have a beast

just do it right the first time. save up till you have what you need to get the setup you want. i've been spending little bits here and there and if i just saved up the first time and dropped all the money at once, i would have a much faster car right now

 

so u think it would be a bad idea to chip the car this weekend if i plan on doin a BT and FMIC in the spring or summer? as far as the body work goes i never really liked to do that much to it so thats gunna be easy to do right.

 

well i dont normally "launch" mainly cause i dont really race anyone, especially of the line. but i found the same thing about "burying" the gas pedal.

I have a stock b7 and a stock nissan titan, the titan will torch the audi in every measure except maybe top end. I know the car will do 135, have not run the truck all out yet.
