ok, how should i not make this boring..... Well first of all.. i wanted a new car. And i saw an add in the paper for $329 a month with 1000 down 24 month lease. So i went to the dealership test drove a audi a4 2.0t.. (demo with 2400) $33,000 that was going to be a " little more" then what was in the add.
so we get the papers and everything signed 24 month .. and then the payments went up to 680 somthing a month.. with tax.. and when we asked them about the 329 a month car.. and they said it didnt exsist in the U.S. and that the dealership doesnt run those adds, the Audi manufacture does.. well tommorow my mom and dad are going to go back there and talk to them .. it sounds like they are baiting and switching or somthing.. what do you guys think /

all in all im kinda mad i was all excited for my new audi... but.. now it seems hopeless [sm=boohoo.gif]

Sounds like a crappy situation, hope you make it out okay.

 

The Audi ad is for 369 a month for 24 months with 1300 and change down, 10k miles a year. This is for a car with premium, sunroof, cold weather and that's it. Does not include sales tax, and the downpayment is made up of first month, bank fee. Looks to me like 1. the dealership saw you coming and 2. you signed something (I hope not but your post made it seem this way) that you did not understand.

Here in NY, with sales tax, that 369 a month turns into around 399 a month. I know the deal exists because I just got an Avant on the 24 month program (I structuered mine a bit differently), and my father just got my mom one on Saturday (sedan)
