You need to get your air to fuel ratio right unless you know how to do it. You need to get it tuned or buy a programmer.

dont i just do a throttle body allignment? Take the ecu out, put it back in, let the car idle for 5 mins........does that work iwth the 2.8?

I don't know if that will work with your car or not. But if your air to fuel ratio is off you can hurt your car. Exspecially if you are running lean.

well, ive been hearing a popping noise every now and then, i guess that could be a signal, whats the worst that can happen? Ill take it to the dealer and have them take a look.

take a pick of your air intake and post it. one of the only things that causes it to mess with a MAF is if the contour or the diameter rapidly change right befor or after the MAF. and did you ever check what the CEL was saying. that will tell you alot about the mixtrue.

i think the last guy on the zine makes a real good point. i think its awesome and i wanted to make my own intake.. what did you use for a heatsheild and what exactly did you have to sheild. also i think to stop crap from getting in from the whole in the fender so to maybe put screen up and attach it, so air could still get threw but not as much crap would get in there. just an idea. the only thing would be is you would have to make sure it doesnt get cloged up or anything.

but overall i think it looks awesome. makes me want to make my own now.
