Dude that thing looked beautfiul black. You should have kept it that color.
Yeah, it looked good from about 20 feet, but the paint was really banged up, it had scratches and chips all over the place to the point where some surface rust was developing, so i sanded it all down and got rid of the surface rust, and didn't feel like blowng my wallet on a pro paint job... plus, the whoel black on black on black thing is way too common, figured i'd try something new... plus this way when i take it off roading if i get a scratch or anythign i just pain right over it ... and yes i'm planning on taking it offroading either this weekend or next with a camera mount so i'll get some footage.

anyboy know what kind of places would have a scale? because all the OEM parts weighed a shitload... the carpeting alone seemed to be like 50lb, it had like 3 inches of padding... and i'm not even goin to start with the stock seats...

right now its sitting at the lowest point, i have about 2.5-3 inches of clearance from the bottom to the ground, and it lowered it a good 2.5 inches... when i go this weekend i'm gonna raise it all the way up so i have about 6-7 inches of clearance, and soften up the shocks... I'm really happy with the way those things work, the install was a biotch, but the aftermath is amazing, took it on a mountain run today and omg, the thing just hugs the road on the turns i was averaging a good 60mph on a really windy mountain road no problem, gonna have to upgrade the brakes soon though.

I highly recomend the tein coilover kits, the SS are nice and stiff, yet they have a smooth ride
here is the Tein link

find the ones that fit your audi, (mine were the 4th row down... the A4 Quattro B5) and then use the part number/model number to find them on line... i got mine from http://www.raceinspired.com/
