So...about that paint...are you thinking you'll repaint it in the future or is that the end result?

 

I know its an Audi, and they are suposed to be "luxury" cars... but the little $500 that i got it for, i'm just having fun with it... who knows maybe i'll caot it with some other rediculous design lol, right now my buddy and i are painting his S13 with the "$50 paint job" http://www.rickwrench.com/50dollarpaint.html, if that turns out well then i might redo this color... this was just a quick solution to the surface rust... but it is my rally/auto-x car so it will get F-ed up and i just wanna be able to spray over it in such event... and hey if you got a suggestion, throw it out there... who knows, maybe i'll do it lol...

 

Did you buy this car before or after the X games???

 

i got it in May, so like 4 months ago. I'm organizing an event with Colorado Rally for my club this bad boy is gonna be up with 4 rally cars from the X-Games this week, i'll put up a video or something on sunday or so, after it all goes down.

 

Do you know what cars i was at the X games and remeber all the cars it was so coooool!! Also did you make or buy that roll cage if you bought it what was the cost??

 

ummm... not quite sure which ones they are gonna bring just yet...

...and the rollcage i picked up from San Diego, might be close to ya, http://www.autopowerindustries.com/ it cost me $570 with a rush order because i needed it before heading off to CO so subtract $95 if you are willing to wait about 3-4 weeks, but they made mine in 1 week. fit perfectly the first time.

 

The cars are so sweet the Hyundai yes the Hyundai in the X games was so sweet i believe it has 2 turbos.. So Beasty all the cars were really cool. Thats a good price on the roll cage hopefully you wont be using it!

 

yeah, better safe then sorry though, i can always find another shell to strip out, but i'd like to keep my body parts lol, plus i welded it in, so it stiffens up the body a lot

 

x games rally is total bullshit. it is a disgrace to rally racing and all those who compete in it
