Likewise, it feels lonely when your the only one lol, where abouts in On are you? I'm thinking about going on the German Car Cruise to Waterfest, that leaves in Mississauga from JRP Performance. I'm just not sure if I want to rack that many miles on so soon. Also my car will be pure stock, not even the K&N intake will be in by then.

im located in sauga, whens that suppose to be goin on?? might be interesting to check it out!

ORIGINAL: VB05

oh **** thats exactly the sound I'm looking for VB05. So you basically removed the mid resonators and put on a remus exhaust? Have you had it dynoed, I'm curious about any hp gains.

Yea i just cut the exhaust off where the midresonator would begin, and ran new pipe (but still stock size) back to the Remus axleback. I'm sure the gains are minimal...but it sounds so nasty if i do say so myself I didn't go to crazy with the custom exhaust cause i dont plan to have a Supercharger anytime soon.

That remus sounds pretty good, I'm just wondering if the same setup with a straight through Magnaflow would work better. Anyways how much did that end up costing you, if you wouldn't mind saying. Also Teeter, here is the website for The Waterfest Kruize 2006. I'm not sure exactly when it leaves but most of the info is there on the site except for the itinerary. It's kind of expensive, but It would be awsome fun. I'm probably going to go down to JRP and ask them about the Tien SS coilovers, and doing a similar setup to VB05's.

good find Bostonbomber.

My neighbour who drives a 2002 Jetta gli (vr6, magnaflow catback, aem cai w/k&n filter eliment, slammed, tinted, shaved, badgeless), which sound absolutly incredible(the sound I'm going for is on the mangnaflow site under sounds and the mkIII golf), he had coilover for a bit, and he said they were almosy unbarably bouncey, so I might just save a ton of cash and go with a properly matched spring/shock setup.

The only thing is that they don't drop it all that much (eibach's were 30mm, H&R race were 1.9"front and 1.5" backs).

If i were to put the H&R race ones on would I have camber issues?

I think when I put 18's on her that a 1.9"f and 1.4"r drop will be perfect, and it will ride nice.

Also concerned if I put on just springs if the oem shocks can handle it, or if I should go with aftermarket ones, but then when you add up springs+shocks=coilover price territory so I dunno.
