My radio turns on but it says "SAFE"..so Im guessing that its locked or something. But I have no clue how to put in the code for it. And I dont wanna head to the dealers so they can charge me just to get it working again...so can someone help..thanks.

Gonzalez87 whatyear and what kinda car do you have? usually in trunk by spare they write code for your radio, "poking method" usually works great.

 

I have a 99.5 1.8T Quattro...I need to get this working ASAP..Im driving with no radio..lol.

 

search on this forum, i've seen threads about this like 10 times in past month. Likely it have never happend to me, but i did look in my spare well to see if i have a code, surely i do

 

ok I think I found something. Im going to try it out and see if it works. so I will reply back as soon as im done.
