I dunno why I'm so excited about this, but I got a CEL this morning!

P0506: Idle control system, rpm lower than expected

When I started my car, it revved itself a little bit and then dropped down to about 700ish and the light came on a few seconds later. I scanned and cleared it (there were no other stored codes at all,) and the car seems perfectly normal. Hooray?

 

Wait and see if it returns.

 

About 150 miles driven today and no returning CEL. I'll look for it tomorrow when the engine is nice and cold, since that's when it happened today.

 

Nice.... Getting a CEL with an Audi is like getting to 2nd base with your g/f. Things are getting intimate.

 

I know! It was so cool! I dunno if it will come back, though... mom walked in on us!
