The Natural Order of Things
In what order should I do my mods?
eg:
Chip, then
Exhaust, then
Turbo, then
DV, then
Injectors, then
Suspension, then
Wheels (stock at mo), then
Rocket engine.
Oh & is all the stuff I do to my 1.8t B5 interchangable to another Engine.... say a B7 or a B6?

If you're gonna get a bigger turbo soon anyway, why waste the money on a chip now? Unless you're gonna go GIAC to KO4, what's the point?
It's pretty much up to you. You can go power first, eg DV, exhaust, turbo/fueling, intercooler, or suspension first, like wheels/tires, shocks/springs/coilovers, brakes, alignment (it matters, OK?)
Like I say, it's pretty much your prerogative. Obviously, some mods you make will necessitate that you make other ones so that everything works right, and then more power might make certain things wear out faster (clutch) but mostly, it's whatever.
If you have a definite plan, though, you can make sure that each mod you make will supplement future mods, like if you plan to get a giant turbo and super boost, get a DV that can cope with that kind of air pressure now, plan on a clutch that will hold that power, get a nice, free-flowing exhaust at least from the cat-back, etc.
And no, not all of the stuff you do to this car will be transferrable. I think that if you get a turbo that bolts to the stock manifold, it will most likely bolt to a B6 mani, since both cars run the same turbo, but don't take my word for it. There's usually seperate upgrades to the different generations, and I have to think that's for a significant reason.
