Hey all

I need yall advice & help on something my A4 2000 need a complete timing belt i'm talking the whole nine yards, & I trying my hardest from buying the parts at the dealearship, so I been shopping online for the parts. My question is that I need to know Where is the BEST PLaCE online to get the parts between clairparts.com Vs ecstiming.com I don't have big bucks to spend, but where would all recommend me buying the parts, I don't want to worry about something breaking later where I have to do the job again. I love that car like I love cake, so please help.

 

I think there have been like fifty posts on this this week and so people are tired of hearing this but
shokan.com and blauparts.com are good places to get full OEM kits to do it right. blauparts is supposedly better because they rent out the audi tools (for do it yourselfers). I am a total shokan kid. Either way it is about 200$ for most a4 and a6 engines. The shokan kit is belt, pulleys, water pump, thermostat Apparently the blauparts kit has coolant but no thermostat and instructions but uh I have never seen the instructions.

 

PS, can't relate, I hate cake!

But I do love my audi so if you need anything more to help you do he timing drop a line.

Can yall help on how to do the timimg belt cause I'm thinking about doing myself instead of paying $600 to get the job done, so please anyone that can send me link with pics details on how to do the job woulb be great. 2000 A4 1.8T I got the parts waiting so just need the extra help.
