Did they even make a non turbo 1.8? It will work without the turbo but will need new programing and it will be gutless.
Checked ebay?

Why not just rebuild the one you have? Unless you dont have one?
Read this thread: The differences between 1.8t and 1.8NA
you can use a 1.8t minus the turbo in your car with a little work Or convert your car to turbo, which is what i would do. Make sure to get the ecu with the engine and you're golden.

Thanks so much for your help so far the problem is where I live ( the Bahamas) I don't have access to everything I would need & no car places over here Cary Audi parts and looking online I still don't see everything I need :/..
The problem with the engine I have is that the head on it cracked and it overheats...every1 says its better to replace the whole engine instead if trying to replace the head and the mechanic is charging $1800-2,000.00 just to install the head that's not me finding and buying it in the states yet and having it shipped over so that's my dilemma. Figured it made sense to just buy a new engine and have it dropped in for between $600-800.00 bucks and still have spare parts for it from the old engine that still has some new parts on it like a water pump and new spark plugs etc..

Damn dude whoever told you 800 for an engine swap is WAYY off.
Just buy the head and slap it on yourself. Its super easy, much easier than pulling the engine. Trust me. Get the numbers off the head and match them with some on ebay and you,re good to go. Should take a day at most to swap them out.
