i have a 2001 a4 quattaro and ever since i bought this car in july of 2005 it has had a yellow like on the dash read out that indicates a malfuncting bulb it always comes on when i turn on the head lights and i sometimes comes on when just the parking lights are on i have replaced every bulb in the vechile with piaa super whites which was pretty pricey all the lights seem to work i also replaced my hid bulbs with phillips 6000K's i don't have a vag com but if that what i need to permanitly shut this stupid malfunction light off for good then i'll order on torromow. i have a python alarm on this car and it neither help nor made to problem worse does any one have any ideas???????

 

are the lights equally bright or one side dimmer than the other?? if one light is dimmer there could be a bad ground on the light holders

 

it looks like they are all the same brightness
