Default Need a little more friendly advice on a purchase

'99 Audi A4 1.8T Quattro
78k Miles
Belt and Clutch Replaced
5 Spd
11k left on Warranty w/option of extending for 4 years (At $1400 through AUL Administrators <--Very nice warranty, covers everything)
GIAC Chip
Diverter BOV
Sport Package
Entire Sounds System has been replaced (Just better speakers)

Asking $10k and he's delivering. Sound reasonable?

The car is in great shape, minor scratch on the front bumper, but that's it.
The VIN is WAUCB28D8XA006141 if anyone has a Carfax deal they could hook me up with.

This would be a car looking at a GT28RS upgrade in it's near future.

Thanks,
Russ

You talk a lot about a warranty, but it is modded, which tends to make it hard to get stuff fixed under warranty from what I understand. Also, if its not void already, wouldnt you void it by doing more modding?

Well you know, I honestly forgot ALL about that. I know it's been serviced with what is done already. Fromy my understanding of how this warranty works there are no stipulations in the warranty about any type of mods. I'm pretty sure these minor items wouldn't be a problem, now I'm not sure about when I go and add the larger turbo, FMIC and all those other goodies. If nothing else, I'd at least have a warrany for a little while to get everything fixed if I find anything remotely wrong with the car.

Does anyone have a Carfax account right now? If not I'll just go and drop the couple bucks to get one.
