i have a 2000 A4 1.8T Quattro Tiptronic. i have some money saved up and i wanted to get a bike. but i decided that i wont. Now i want to change my car. for new model. What model do you guys recommend, A4 1.8t or 2.8, quattro....? I know i dont want tiptronic no more. my other choice was ....i have a 2002 civic. people were telling me to spend that money and add a RSX acura engine and just fix it up for track racing...and keep the audi as my baby car. dont know....any opinions will be appreciated.

Stick with the 1.8T.
Im not really sure why you would want a CIVIC! Or , an RSX which is just an intergra...
Even if you car in tiptronic , and you are sick of the slushie , you still are driving an Audi which is much nicer then the cars you mentioned.

 

i agree with you...i feel that i cant do much of an upgrade with the audi tiptronic.....i already have a MTM chip.. also i wanted a 5 speed. i said about the civic because thats my other car...so i figure it would be more cheaper to upgrade.

 

depends on what you want for the outcome.. do you want a track car.. or a car that you can drive daily and blow the doors off of most cars, do you want a really fast car that should only be taken out on weekends or for your commute to work..

 

yea i want to start going to the track..couple of friends are SCCA members.
